Pathways is a programme for our most advanced students who come from communities under-represented in classical music. It was pioneered by Prof. Itzak Rashkovsky London Music Masters' Founder and Artistic Director. Under his guidance and personal tutoring Pathways students have won places in the National Children's Orchestraof Great Britain, Junior departments of Royal College of Music and awards and busaries to enable them to study at leading independent schools.

LMM Learning is at its heart a community music programme. We invite parents to weekly lessons, take children to perform in community venues and will over several years work with many siblings within one family. Parents support as volunteers and by helping with practice at home and are key to ensuring that successful learning is taking place. That feeling of a strong community is one which it is impossible to manufacture artificially but as one teacher said at a recent event "I have never seen such a community feeling at this school at an event like this..." (Adam Hickman, Ashmole School). Parents and teachers continue to report improved concentration, confidence in learning and resilience in the students all of which have an impact on their broader education. We are currently undertaking research with support from Pro Bono Economics using the national pupil database to explore the impact of our programme on the adademic development of children at LMM Learning schools.
