OperaUpClose | 12 – 17 September

The unmissable OperaUpClose returns to Soho with Mozart’s masterpiece Don Giovanni in Robin Norton-Hale’s new English-language version.  With action set in the early noughties and the title role a charming city trader, the production offers audiences the extraordinary opportunity to experience the drama, as well as the music, in an intimate setting.  Not without the world-class singers and original settings OperaUpClose are famed for, this peerless production is a must-see.

For Crying Out Loud | 14 September

For Crying out Loud offers new parents and babies an opportunity to enjoy a short programme (45 minutes) of chamber music featuring musicians from the Royal Academy of Music in a calm and accommodating environment – an opportunity too good to be true!

The Barbirolli Lectures: Dame Kiri Te Kanawa | 16 September

The Royal Academy of Music present to you an evening with Dame Kiri Te Kanawa within The Barbirolli Lecture series.  The distinguished soprano reflects on her career and musical influences with the Academy's Principal, Professor Jonathan Freeman-Attwood – a fantastic opportunity to experience Kiri Te Kanawa up close.

Mini Maestros | 17 September

The London Musical Arts Orchestra are offering a friendly series of one-hour Mini Maestro Family Concerts where everyone can listen, learn and join in the fun and games! Come to St-Martin-in-the-fields and enjoy this musical playground, complete with full orchestra under the baton of John Landor.  Expect a fully interactive concert with story-telling, mime and crayons!

 

 4.30 – 5.30pm: St-Martin-in-the-fields. Tickets are £8.50 for adults and £6.50 for under-16s.
