2012 is definitely the year for medals - Bridge Project ABSRM Music Medals triumph!

Some of our oldest Bridge Project violinists (some who are still only 8 years old!) from Ashmole Primary School have all passed their ABRSM Silver Music Medals with flying colours! What’s more, 86% gave performances described as ‘excellent’  – the highest possible achievement category.

The Year 4 violinists excelled themselves in learning solo and ensemble pieces, as well as working on their aural skills in call and response exercises, to achieve these outstanding results and are now all proud holders of Music Medal certificates and badges.

ABRSM’s Music Medals are music exams specifically tailored towards children learning in groups and are accredited by the National Qualifications and Curriculum Authority ensuring that they reflect quality standards which fit into the National Qualifications Framework.

Congratulations to all the students who took part as well as their fantastic violin tutors!
