London Music Masters announces its first LMM Award winners!

Violinists Agata Szymczewska from Poland, Elena Urioste from the US and Jennifer Pike from the UK have been awarded an LMM Award until 2012. 

To launch their three-year tenure, each will perform individual afternoon recitals at London's premiere chamber music venue, Wigmore Hall. Elena Urioste will make her UK debut on Tuesday 20 October 2009. Jennifer Pike returns on Thursday 22 October and Agata Szymczewska will also make her UK debut on Saturday 24 October. Following the recitals, one of the LMM Award winners will also have the opportunity to perform a concerto with the London Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Osmo Vänskä at the Royal Festival Hall in the autumn of 2010.
